Description

ConocoPhillips subsidiary Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Co LP has completed four horizontal Niobrara producers from a common drillpad in the southern Denver-Julesburg Basin about 1 mile southeast of the Aurora, Colo. city limits in Arapahoe County. The drillpad is in Section 27-4s-65w. Proposed measured total depths range between 18,102 and 18,395 ft (7,963-,8061 ft true vertical and all four wells were drilled generally westward to bottom-hole locations in Section 28-4s-65w. Burlington has released only preliminary completion details. The #4-65 27-28 3DH Cottonwood Creek produced an average of about 831 bbl of oil and 822.761 Mcf of gas per day. The #4-65 27-28 4AH Cottonwood Creek produced an average of about 831 bbl of oil and 933.857 Mcf of gas per day. The #4-65 27-28 4BH Cottonwood Creek produced an average of about 803 bbl of oil and 844.083 Mcf of gas per day.
