Description

In Susquehanna County, Pa., Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. completed four Marcellus Shale wells in Dimock Field. According to IHS Markit, wells were drilled from a single pad in Section 7 Montrose East 7.5 Quad, Bridgewater Township. The #8 Groover S was drilled to 14,233 ft (6,870 ft true vertical) and flowed 19.7 MMcf of gas per day with a shut-in casing pressure of 850 psi. Production is from a fractured zone at 9,323-14,168 ft. The #6 Groover S was drilled to 21,759 ft (6,560 ft true vertical) and flowed 28.700 MMcf of gas with a shut-in casing pressure of 1,000 psi. Production is from fractured perforations at 8,048-21,684 ft. The #4 Groover S was drilled to 23,280 (6,517 ft true vertical) and flowed 35.3 MMcf of gas with a shut-in casing pressure of 1,200 psi. Production is from fractured perforations at 7,000-23,205 ft. The #2 Groover S was drilled to 13,700 (6,843 ft true vertical) and initially flowed 15.3 MMcf of gas with a shut-in casing pressure of 600 psi. Production is from fractured perforations at 8,126-13,631 ft.
