Description

Matador Resources Co. announced results from four extended-lateral Boros lease wells in Eddy County, N, M. The Purple Sage Field wells are in Section 15-26s-31e. The #201H Boros Federal Com was tested at an initial daily rate of 1,873 bbl of oil and 7.6 MMcf of gas (3,143 bbl of oil equivalent per day) from perforations in the Wolfcamp A-XY. It has 2-mile long, south-trending lateral that bottomed in Section 22. The company's three other parallel completions, #215H Boros Federal Com, #216H Boros Federal Com and #217H Boros Federal Com were drilled on the same two-section lease. The #215H Boros Federal Com flowed 2,750 bbl of oil and 11 MMcf of gas per day (4,584 bbl of oil equivalent per day). The #216H Boros Federal Com was tested for 2,113 bbl of oil and 8.7 MMcf of gas daily (3,569 bbl of oil equivalent per day). The #217H Boros Federal Com flowed at a 24-hour rate of 1,555 bbl of oil and 9.4 MMcf of gas (3,128 bbl of oil equivalent per day). All three are producing from the Wolfcamp A. According to Matador, all four Delaware Basin wells recorded at high flowing casing pressures of approximately 3,100 psi (#201H Boros Federal Com) and 3,500-3,800 psi for the other three wells.
