A Four Bears Field discovery by Houston-based Marathon Oil Corp. initially flowed 5.946 Mbbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, with 6.185 MMcf of gas and 4.651 Mbbl of water per day from Three Forks. The #12-16TFH Perkins USA is in Section 17-152n-93w in North Dakota’s McKenzie County. Drilled to 22,136 ft, the true vertical depth is 10,338 ft, and it was tested after 45-stage fracturing. Production is from fracture-treated perforations between 12,280 and 21,997 ft.
