Description
A second wildcat has been completed by Dallas-based Foundation Energy Management LLC as a Red River discovery in Golden Valley County, N.D. The #22-9 Rojic is in Section 9-140n-104w. It was tested initially pumping 43 bbl of 32.4-degree-gravity oil with 22 Mcf of gas and 76 bbl of water per day. Production is from an acidized Red River D zone interval at 12,127-90 ft. It was drilled to 12,319 ft and cased to 12,300 ft. The well was originally permitted to Whiting Oil & Gas. In its first three months online (January-March), #22-9 Rojic discovery produced 1.61 Mbbl of oil, 136 Mcf of gas and 9.702 Mbbl of water. In March, it produced an average of about 26 bbl of oil and 162 bbl of water per day.
