Description

A Flat Top Field completion was announced by Wichita Falls, Texas-based NBX Energy LLC in a Haskell County (RRC Dist. 7B), Texas, reservoir. The #1 Risley flowed 126 bbl of 43-degree-gravity crude and 32 Mcf of gas per day from natural perforations at 4,888-4,904 ft in Upper Strawn. Tested on a 12/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 350 psi. it was drilled to 5,250 ft and is on a 266-acre Bend Arch lease in Section 106, BBB&C RR Co Survey, A-1131. Earlier in 2018, the company completed #4 Flat Top within one-half mile to the northeast in adjacent Section 107, The well was tested flowing 112 bbl of 43.8-degree-gravity crude and 28 Mcf of gas per day from Upper Strawn at 4,853-75 ft. The field opener is #1 Flat Top Ranch PC and it came online in late 2017. The 6,100-ft well initially flowed 100 bbl of 43.8-degree-gravity crude and 24 Mcf of gas per day from natural Strawn perforations at 4,834-54 ft.
