Description
Edinburg, Ill.-based Landgas Exploration & Production is underway at first of two scheduled Trenton wildcats in Sangamon County, Ill. The #1 Theilen has a planned depth of 1,999 ft and is in Section 27-15n-6w. The second planned venture is #2 Theilen in Section 27 and is permitted to 1,950 ft. Few wildcats have been drilled in this part of Sangamon County and nearby production is about 10 miles east in Springfield East Field that produces yield crude from Silurian.
