Description

Two Weld County, Colo., two Niobrara completions were announced by Extraction Oil & Gas Inc. from a drillpad in Section 28-1n-68w. The #33S-20-6N Coyote Trails was drilled to 17,961 ft 7,921 ft true vertical. It initially flowed 662 bbl of oil, 1.799 MMcf of gas and 127 bbl of water per day from Niobrara perforations at 8,409-17,936 ft. Tested on a 20/64-in choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,523 psi and the flowing casing pressure was 2,113 psi. The offsetting #33S-20-4N Coyote Trails flowed 519 bbl of oil, 1.572 MMcf of gas and 236 bbl of water per day from Niobrara at 8,207-17,735 ft. It was drilled to 17,751 ft (7,785 ft true vertical) and tested on a 20/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 1,872 psi and a flowing casing pressure of 2,240 psi. Extraction is based in Denver.
