An extended-reach Codell discovery in Laramie County, Wyo., was tested flowing 1.094 Mbbl of oil, with 466.5 Mcf of gas and 1.145 Mbbl of water daily. Helis Oil & Gas Co LLC’s #16-63-6-7-18-1CH Sandberg is on the northern flank of the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Section 6-16n-63w. Production is from a lateral in drilled southward to 18,018 ft (7,779 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 18-16n-63w. It was tested on a 30/64-in. choke after 60-stage fracturing between 8,218 and 17,869 ft. Helis is based in New Orleans.
