Description
Perryton, Texas-based Courson Oil & Gas Inc. completed an extended-reach horizontal Cleveland Sand venture in Roberts County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #1H Courson Land is in Section 138, Block, G&M Survey, A-487. It was tested on gas lift producing 664 bbl of 38-degree-gravity oil, 372 Mcf of gas and 2.125 Mbbl of water per day through fractured perforations between 7,548 and 17,337 ft. The western Anadarko Basin prospect was drilled to the northeast about 1 mile across Section 2, BBB&C Survey, A-1043, then north another mile across Section 1, BBB&C Survey, A-3. The 17,337-ft well has a true vertical depth of 6,936 ft. There have been no 2-mile horizontal Cleveland wells completed in the vicinity.
