Description
An extended lateral-Wolfcamp completion in the Midland Basin was reported by Midland, Texas-based CrownQuest Operating LLC in Howard County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1HA Tubb A flowed 1.056 Mbbl of 38-degree-gravity crude, 733 Mcf of gas and 1.382 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-stimulated perforations at 7,634-17,507 ft. The Spraberry Trend well was drilled to 17,585 ft and is on a 3,222-acre West Texas lease in Section 37, Block 33 T1S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-376. It bottomed to the northwest in Section 25 and was tested on a 1-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 180 psi.
