Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Two Carthage Field-Haynesville wells were completed by EXCO Resources Inc. of Dallas in Nacogdoches County (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The #1H S.U. Walker F was tested flowing 20.9 million cu. ft. of gas and 500 bbl. of water per day through fracture-treated perforations at 14,737-19,295 ft. Gauged on a 24/64-in. choke, flowing and shut-in casing pressures were 8,190 psi and 9,226 psi, respectively. The horizontal producer is on a 620-acre lease in Joel Walker Survey, A-57, and was drilled to 19,409 ft., 14,526 ft. true vertical. It bottomed a mile to the north beneath the same survey. In the same survey, #1H S.U. Walker D was drilled to 19,489 ft., 14,446 ft. true vertical. The well had an initial daily potential of 23.8 million cu. ft. of gas and 730 bbl. of water through fracture-stimulated perforations at 14,868-19,370 ft. Gauged on a 26/64-in. choke, the respective flowing and shut-in casing pressures were 9,422 psi and 10,264 psi. The #1H S.U. Walker D was drilled to 19,489 ft. and the true vertical depth is 14,446 ft.
