Description
Cimarex Energy Co. announced preliminary production test results from a multi-zone well drilled on the eastern end of Oklahoma’s Eola-Robberson Field. The #2-8 Yeary is in Section 8-1n-2w of Garvin County. It was tested on artificial lift producing 100 bbl of oil with 1.72 MMcf of gas per day from Overthrusted Woodford at 6,350-6,650 ft; Overthrusted Hunton at 6,700-6,900 ft; Sycamore at 7,420-7,720 ft; Woodford at 7,800-8,100 ft; Hunton at 8,130-8,330 ft; and Viola at 8,750-9,340 ft. The venture was set up as a 10,500-ft directional test with bottomhole location about 800 ft to the southeast. Additional information is not yet available. Denver-based Cimarex has applied for approval to commingle production from all the perforated intervals.
