EOG Resources Inc. announced during a second-quarter update that the company completed four Delaware Basin wells on the Houston-based company’s West Texas acreage in Loving County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The extended-lateral horizontal wells, #8H, #9H, #10H and #11H Quanah Parker were drilled in Section 17, Block C25, PSL Survey, A-1003. The parallel laterals bottomed to the northwest in Section 18. According to the company, the wells were completed with an average treated lateral length of 9,900 ft per well. Although individual test results are not available, 30-day initial production rates averaged 1.535 Mbbl of oil, 525 bbl of NGL and 3 MMcf of gas per day (2.565 Mboe/d) per well. The laterals were drilled with 440-ft spacing staggered across two target intervals. The offsetting #8H was drilled to 22,900 ft, 12,752 ft true vertical. The #9H was drilled to 22,648 ft, 12,635 ft true vertical. The #10H was drilled to 22,937 ft, 12,776 ft true vertical and the #11H was drilled to 22,698 ft, 12,645 ft true vertical.
