IHS Markit announced that Lakewood, Colorado-based EME Wyoming LLC has been granted drilling permits for eight horizontal Niobrara/Codell wildcats on a common drillpad in Goshen County, Wyo. The ventures will be drilled (four in Niobrara and four in Codell) in Section 24-19n-64w, generally northward to bottom-hole locations in Section 13-19n-64w. The #38-24-13-1CH Ranch; #2NH Ranch; #3CH Ranch; #4NH Ranch; #5CH Ranch; #6NH Ranch; #7CH Ranch and #8NH 4A Ranch will be drilled to total depths of 18,218 to 19,594 ft. True vertical depth of the Niobrara projects is 7,931 ft and of the Codell ventures is 8,131 ft. There has been no drilling in Goshen County since late 2014.
