Partners Reliance Industries Ltd. and BP have reported eight oil discoveries in offshore India's Block CB-ONN-2003/1 (CB10A&B) in the Cambay Basin. These oil discoveries are #43-D; #45-D; #46-D; #47-D; #48-D; #49-D; #50-D and #51-D. According to Mumbai-based Reliance, the discoveries hold 15.04 MMbbl of oil in place. Reliance is planning to drill six development wells and has already drilled 18 wells total on the block, which covers an area of 635 sq km divided into two parts, A and B. Reliance is the operator of Block CBONN-2003/1 and the discoveries with 70% interest in partnership with BP, holding the remaining 30%.
