Description
In Newton County (RRC Dist. 3), Texas, Costa Energy Inc. has completed a directional Yegua gas well. The #1 Black Stone 407 flowed at a daily rate of 2.692 MMcf of gas and 108 bbl of 49.3-degree-gravity crude from perforations at 12,636-12,720 ft. The Hartburg Southeast Field well is on a 200-acre upper Texas Coast lease in Section 4, Frederick Stoever Survey, A-407, and was drilled to 12,928 ft before being plugged back to 12,824 ft for completion. The well was tested on a 6/64-in. choke with a flowing casing pressure of 7299 psi and a shut-in casing pressure of 8,715 psi. Costa Energy is based in Irving, Texas.
