Description

Completion details have been released by Devon Energy Corp for three horizontal oil wells — one Wolfcamp producer and two Bone Springs producers —from a pad in the Delaware Basin in Lea County, N.M. According to IHS Markit, #002H Mean Green 23-35 Federal Com initially flowed 1.396 Mbbl of oil, 1.897 MMcf of gas and 6.431 Mbbl of water from acid- and fracture-stimulated Wolfcamp perforations at 13,466-23,604 ft. The Jabalina Southwest Field well was drilled to 23,745 ft (12,714 ft true vertical) in Section 23-26s-34e. The lateral bottomed almost 2 miles to the south in irregular Section 35. Two shallower Bone Spring wildcats were also completed. The #003H Mean Green 23-35 Federal Com was tested at a daily rate of 473 bbl of oil, 1.601 MMcf of gas and 2.322 Mbbl of water. Treated perforations are at 11,345-21,525 ft. The two-mile lateral bottomed to the south at a total depth of 21,671 ft (10,737 ft true vertical).The #004H Mean Green 23-35 Federal Com flowed 824 bbl of crude, 3.972 MMcf of gas and 1.983 Mbbl of water from perforations at 11,150-21,364 ft. The total depth is 21,510 ft and the true vertical depth is 10,982 ft.
