Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Six long-reach Meramec producers were completed by Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy Production Corp. in a Stack play increased density pilot project in Blaine County, Okla. All of the Watonga-Chickasha Trend wells were drilled from a pad in Section 4-15n-10w. According to IHS Markit, #8HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W produced 1.587 Mbbl of oil, 2.54 MMcf of gas and 2.537 Mbbl of water during a 24-hour test on 28/64-in. choke. The flowing tubing pressure was 1,985. It was drilled to 21,095 ft and bottomed about 2 miles to the north in Section 33-16n-10w It was perforated and fractured between 10,434 and 20,745 ft. About 550 ft to the west, #6HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W produced 1.416 Mbbl of 47-degree-gravity oil with 2.76 MMcf of gas and 760 bbl of water per day during testing on a 26/64-in. choke. Production is from perforations in a parallel treated lateral at 10,612-20,720 ft. Measured and true vertical depths are 21,097 ft and 9,931 ft, respectively. At second well on the pad, #7HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W initially flowed 1.267 Mbbl of oil, 2.81 MMcf of gas and 1.008 Mbbl of water per day after a fracturing at 10,651-20,925 ft. It was drilled to 21,095 ft and the true vertical depth was 10,094 ft. Another 900 ft to the west, #4HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W, flowed 1.209 Mbbl of oil, 2.65 MMcf of gas and 941 bbl of water per day. It was tested on a 28/64-in. choke and production is from perforated and fracture stimulated perforations at 10,570-20,674 ft. It was drilled to 21,053 ft and bottomed in Section 28-16n-10w. The #5HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W was tested on a 28/64-in. choke initially flowing 672 bbl of oil, 2.05 MMcf of gas and 1.169 Mbbl of water per day from fractured perforations at 10,641-20,745 ft. The #2HX Kraken 33_28-16N-10W is producing 858 bbl of oil, 2.15 MMcf of gas and 796 bbl of water from perforations at 10,620-20,721 ft. Tested on a 28/64-in. choke, the respective shut-in and flowing tubing pressures were 1,773 psi and 777 psi. The Kraken density pilot was originally designed with a total of 16 wells targeting three Meramec intervals and one Woodford zone.
