Drilling Activity Summary

Description

A horizontal Delaware Basin-Wolfcamp well was completed by Melbourne, Australia-based BHP Billiton Petroleum Ltd. in Culberson County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H HS State 113-22X15 was tested flowing 4.49 MMcf of gas, 663 bbl of 49.6-degree-gravity oil and 1.484 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 9,182-16,519 ft. It is on a 974.6-acre lease in Section 23, Block 113, PSL Survey, A-6462. The 16,715-ft well bottomed to the north in Section 15 at a true vertical depth of 8,977 ft. Gauged on a 1-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 652 psi. The new well offsets another north-trending horizontal Phantom field well: BHP’s #1H SS State 113-23X14 was completed in 2015 flowing 3.3 MMcf of gas and 795 bbl of 53.1-degree-gravity condensate daily from perforations at 9,157-18,843 ft. Production through May 2017 totals 1.7 Bcf of gas and 190.771 Mbbl of condensate.
