Description

Samson Energy completed a horizontal Wolfcamp well in the Delaware Basin portion of Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H Geneva East Unit is flowing 663 bbl of 41.1-degree-gravity oil, 667 Mcf of gas and 3.623 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from fractured perforations at 10,481-18,800 ft. The 18,885-ft Phantom Field well is on a 552-acre West Texas lease in Section 12, Block 49, T9S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-8533. The lateral bottomed within two miles to the north beneath Section 1 at a true vertical depth of 10,280 ft. Gauged on a 36/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 1,090 psi. Samson is based in Tulsa.
