Description

A Delaware Basin-horizontal Wolfcamp completion was announced by Brigham Exploration Co. in Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H Kelley State 22 was tested flowing 338 bbl of 39.5-degree-gravity oil, 153 Mcf of gas and 1.194 Mbbl of water per day. The Hoefs T-K Field well was drilled to 13,724 ft and is on a 645-acre West Texas lease in Section 22, Block 48, T8S, T&P RR Co Survey, A-8322. The lateral bottomed nearly one mile to the east at a true vertical depth of 9,127 ft. Acidized and fracture-treated perforations are at 9,233-13,702 ft. The nearest current Wolfcamp production is two miles to the south, where Brigham operates a two horizontal Hoefs T-K Field wells. Brigham is based in Austin.
