IHS Markit reported that Natural Hydrogen Energy LLC is planning to drill a deep wildcat in the non-producing central Salina Basin in Section 23-7n-4w in Filmore County, Neb. The #3NE Hoarty is permitted as an 11,000-ft Precambrian test, with hydrogen gas the targeted commodity. The prospect was first permitted in 2016. Nearby drilling is at two dry holes about 14 miles to the southeast that were drilled in the 1950s to 3,280 ft. Natural Hydrogen’s headquarters are in Greeley, Colo.
