Description
According to IHS Inc., Tulsa-based Laredo Petroleum Inc. completed a Dalhart Basin producer in Hartley County (RRC Dist. 10), Texas. The #1 K.R. Stanley 112 is in Section 112, Block 2, B&B Survey, A-1117, and was tested in an untreated interval of Canyon Granite Wash at 6,194-98 ft. The well initially pumped 95 bbl. of 39-degree-gravity oil and 189 bbl. of water daily. Laredo drilled the venture to 8,500 ft. and set cast-iron bridge plugs at 6,327 ft., 6,670 ft. and 6,740 ft. The discovery is eight miles from two fields - Lathem (originally called Lathem Canyon) Field to the east-northeast and Rehm Field to the south and west.
