Description

Two vertical Spraberry Trend wells have been completed in Reagan County (RRC Dist. 7C), Texas, by Midland, Texas-based CrownQuest Operating LLC. According to IHS Markit, #1 Topher 2 was tested flowing 251 bbl of 39-degree-gravity oil, 1.049 MMcf of gas and 557 bbl of water per day from commingled perforations ranging from 8,552-11,395 ft. Acid- and fracture-treated formations include Wolfcamp, Strawn, Atoka and Devonian. Tested on a 34/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 500 psi and the shut-in tubing pressure was 1,900 psi. It was drilled to 11,485 ft in Section 2, Block C, L&SV RR Co Survey, A-394 on a 161.4-acre Midland Basin lease. Within one-half mile to the west-southwest in the same section is the company’s #2 Topher 2. It flowed 262 bbl of crude, 916 Mcf of gas and 1.024 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-stimulated perforations ranging from 8,460-11,410 ft. The 11,546-ft well was tested on a 32/64-in. choke with a flowing tubing pressure of 500 psi and a shut-in tubing pressure of 1,650 psi.
