IHS Markit reported that Jamex Inc. has completed a Cotton Valley gas well in Van Zandt County (RRC Dist. 5), Texas, in Edgewood Field. The #1 Humphries flowed 878 Mcf of gas per day from 11,645-80 ft. The vertical gas well was drilled to 11,766 ft and is on a 160-acre East Texas lease in F.W. Wrede Survey, A-897. It was tested on a 4/64-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 3,800 psi. In 2018, the Lewisville, Texas-based company completed #1 Reznicek. It was tested flowing 1.6 MMcf of gas, 2 bbl of 52.1-degree-grravity condensate and 2 bbl of water per day from Cotton Valley at 11,580-11,618 ft.
