Drilling Activity Summary

Description

One Three Forks well and two Middle Bakken wells were completed at a McKenzie County, N.D. drillpad in Section 25-149n-98w. The Continental Resources Inc. discoveries were drilled in Haystack Butte Field and all three ventures bottomed in Section 36. The #10-25H Palmer Federal was drilled to 21,956 ft (11,214 ft true vertical) and produced 3,071 bbl of 46° API oil, 7,032 MMcf of gas and 3,092 bbl of water daily from Middle Bakken perforations at 11,790-21,956 ft. Gauged on a 36/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,650 psi. The offsetting #13-25HSL1 Palmer Federal was drilled to 21,948 ft (11,254 ft true vertical) and produced 1,089 bbl of 47° API oil, with 1.955 MMcf of gas and 2,951 bbl of water per day from Three Forks after 42-stage fracturing. Tested on a 40/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 245 psi and it is flowing from a perforated zone between 12,067 and 21,948 ft. The #12-25HSL Palmer Federal has a total depth of 22,167 ft and a true vertical depth of 11,208 ft. It flowed 2,365 bbl of 46° API oil, with 3.565 MMcf of gas and 2,033 bbl of water per day from Middle Bakken perforations at 12,013-22,167 ft. It was tested on a 40/64-inch choke and the flowing casing pressure was 250 psi.
