Description

Two horizontal Wolfcamp wells were completed in the Delaware Basin by Houston-based Contango Oil & Gas Co. The wells were drilled in Section 29, Block 49 T9S, T&P Survey, A-984 in Pecos County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1H Crusader 2930 is producing from Lower Wolfcamp A perforations at 10,091-20,275 ft. It was drilled to 20,275 ft with a 10,184-ft lateral that bottomed to the west in Section 30. It is producing 695 bbl of oil equivalent per day (81% oil). It was completed following 50-stage fracturing. To the northwest is Section 17, #3H Ragin Bull 1716 had a 24-hour flowrate of 1.24 Mboe per day (68% oil). The Lower Wolfcamp A well was drilled to 20,570 ft and includes a 10,325-ft east-trending lateral that was fractured in 50 stages.
