Description

Four extended-reach horizontal Niobrara delineation tests on the former Lowry bombing range have been staked by Houston-based ConocoPhillips. The four ventures will be drilled from a common drillpad in Section 23-5s-65w in Arapahoe County, Colo. The wells are #2AH; #2BH; #2DH and #2 CH State Sunlight. Measured total depths range from 17,951 to 18,048 ft; true vertical depths range from 8,019 to 8107 ft. Bottom-hole locations are to the west in Section 22-5s-65w. The drillpad is about 1 mile west and slightly south of the first horizontal Niobrara producer on the Lowry range at Anadarko Petroleum’s # 5-24XXHZ State, which was completed in 2011 initially flowing at an average rate of 195 bbl of oil and 18.689 Mcf of gas per day.
