Drilling Activity Summary

Description

ConocoPhillips plans to drill more than 250 wells at its Bear Tooth Unit in the National Petroleum Reserve-Alaska (NPR-A). The company has filed a development plan with the Bureau of Land Management for delineation drilling associated with its Willow development project. According to IHS Markit, the proposed Willow development includes five multi-well locations on the Bear Tooth Federal Unit, an on-site Willow central processing facility located and an infrastructure pad containing support facilities. Each drillsite would accommodate at least 50 wells at 20-ft wellhead spacing. The proposed plan includes infield pipelines to transport produced fluids from drillsites and an oil export pipeline for sales-quality crude oil to a tie-in point with the existing Alpine Pipeline at Colville Delta 4 North (CD4N). Other support pipelines include a seawater pipeline, diesel pipeline, and freshwater pipeline. ConocoPhillips is based in Houston.
