Description

Two Culberson County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, Wolfcamp producers were reported by Cimarex Energy Co. The Ford West Field wells were drilled in T&P RR CO Survey, A-2723. The #3H His Eminence 27 Unit was drilled to 19,071 ft with a true vertical depth of 8,668 ft. It produced 1,081 bbl of oil, 3.433 MMcf of gas and 5,372 bbl of water per day from a perforated zone at 8,715-18,961 ft. Gauged on an80/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 363 psi and the shut-in casing pressure was 449 psi. About 25 ft to the east in the same section, #4H His Eminence 27 Unit was drilled to 19,571 ft, 9,221 ft. It was tested on a 72/64-inch choke flowing 1,232 bbl of oil, 6.31 MMcf of gas with 5,347 bbl of water per day. Production is from a perforated zone at 9,265-19,480 ft and the flowing tubing pressure was 864 psi. Cimarex’s headquarters are in Denver.
