Description
A Tahiti Field test has been scheduled by Houston-based Chevron Corp. The #11PS OCS G20082 will be drilled in the southeastern portion of Green Canyon Block 640. Water depth in the area is 4,200 ft. Tahiti Field, which is made up of Green Canyon blocks 596, 597, 640 and 641, came online in 2009. Wells in the reservoir produce oil and gas through a range of Miocene perforations at 23,000-29,000 ft. Through June 2019, cumulative field recovery totals 408 MMbbl of crude/condensate and 270 Bcf of gas.
