Chevron Corp. is under way at a development test in the company’s Tahiti Field. The #2 OCS G16770 is in Green Canyon Block 641 and area water depth is 4,200 ft. Tahiti Field is comprised of Green Canyon blocks 596, 597, 640 and 641. Wells in the reservoir produce oil and gas from a range of Middle and Lower Miocene perforations at 23,000-29,000 ft. Through June 2018, cumulative field recovery totals 440 MMbbl of crude and 220 Bcf of gas. Chevron is based in Houston.
