Description

Three Luzerne Field-Marcellus wells were completed in Fayette County, Pa. by Houston-based Chevron Corp. The wells were drilled from a single pad in Section 2, Carmichaels 7.5 Quad, Luzerne Township. The #2H Stewart was drilled to 24,094 ft, 7,843 ft true vertical and bottomed to the north. It was tested flowing 4.128 MMcf of gas from a fractured zone at 8,168-23,931 with a shut-in casing pressure of 3,804 psi. The #5H Stewart was drilled to the south to 20,367 ft, 8,142 ft true vertical. It was tested flowing 5.495 MMcf of gas per day with a shut-in tubing pressure of 3,208 psi and production is from perforations at 8,148-20,209 ft. The #7A Stewart was drilled to the east to 20,507 ft with a true vertical depth of 8,117 ft. It initially flowed 8.253 MMcf of gas with a shut-in tubing pressure of 3,917 psi and production is from perforations at 8,281-20,314 ft.
