Description

Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed a Chester Lime horizontal producer in Woodward County, Okla., the first horizontal well in the township. The #1H Tambora 5-24-17 is in Section 5-24n-17w and it was tested flowing 2.28 MMcf of gas and 85 bbl of water daily from perforations at 6,711-11,618 ft after acidizing and fracturing. It was drilled to 11,888 ft with a true vertical depth of 6,416 ft and it bottomed to the north. Tested on a 64/64-in. choke, the shut-in tubing pressure was 901 psi and the flowing tubing pressure was 91 psi.
