Description
Two Caspiana Field-Haynesville completions were announced by Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. in De Soto Parish, La. The discoveries were drilled from a pad in Section 9-14n-12w. The #2-Alt Chesapeake Minerals 16-14-12 H was drilled to 16,879 ft, 11,911 ft true vertical. It produced 17.976 MMcf of gas and 168 bbl of water daily. Tested on a 21/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 8,033 psi and production is from perforations at 12,287-16,869 ft. The offsetting #3-Alt Chesapeake Minerals 16-14-12 H produced 21.598 MMcf of gas and 312 bbl of water per day from perforations at 12,694-17,280 ft. Gauged on a 23/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 7,991 psi. The 17,292-ft well has a true vertical depth of 12,011 ft.
