Description

Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed three wells in Pennsylvania’s Bradford County. The Marcellus Shale ventures were drilled from a single Asylum Field drillpad in Section 1, Colley 7.5 Quad, Terry Township. The #101HC McEnaney was drilled to 21,373 ft, 7,840 ft true vertical. It initially flowed 55.66 MMcf of gas from perforations at 8,403-21,158 ft with a shut-in casing pressure of 3,793 psi. The #102HC McEnaney was drilled to a total depth of 21,178 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,729 ft. It produced 49.538 MMcf of gas and had a shut-in casing pressure of 3,755 psi from perforations at 8,456-21,468 ft after 40-stage fracturing. The #103H McEnaney initially flowed 40.424 MMcf of gas per day from a perforated zone at 8,659-18,491 ft. Drilled to 18,513 ft, the true vertical depth is 7,681 ft.
