Description
A workover completion was announced by Merit Energy Co. in Texas County, Okla. The #15-5 Bathurst was tested pumping 61 bbl of oil, 20 Mcf of gas and 18 bbl of water per day. The well is in Section 15-2n-14ecm and is producing from an undisclosed, fracture-stimulated interval of Cherokee at approximately 5,700 ft. According to IHS Markit, EOG Resources Inc. originally completed the 6,900-ft well (#15 5 Bathurst) in 2006 as a deeper pool discovery in Mississippian at 6,758-66 and 6,776-80 ft and it pumped 77 Mcf of gas with 3 bbl of water per day and produced 10.6 MMcf of gas before being shut-in.
