Description
An Anadarko Basin horizontal well by Unit Petroleum Co. was tested flowing 298 bbl of 41-degree-gravity oil, 545 Mcf of gas and 1.624 Mbbl of water per day from Cherokee. The Thomas South Field completion, #1H-19 Schrock, is in Section 20-14n-14w of Custer County, Okla. It was tested on a 32/64-in. choke with a shut-in tubing pressure of 4,678 psi and a flowing tubing pressure of 235 psi after 17-stage fracturing. It was drilled to 15,746 ft, 11,011 ft true vertical, to the west into Section 19-14n-14w, then north, and bottomed in Section 19-14n-14w. Unit’s headquarters are in Denver.
