Oklahoma City-based Gulf Exploration LLC has completed a Chase County, Neb., well along the eastern edge of the Denver-Julesburg Basin. The #1-18 Johnson is in Section 18-5n-40w. It is producing an average of 144 bbl of oil and 9 bbl of water per day from Lansing-Kansas City. Designated the Chundy East Field opener, the 5,375-ft discovery was cased to total depth. Additional drilling and completion details have not yet been released.
