Description

Caza Oil & Gas Inc. completed a horizontal Bone Spring producer on its Delaware Basin-West Copperline prospect acreage in Lea County, N.M. The #1H West Copperline 29 State Com had a peak daily gross rate of 800 bbl. of oil and 1.21 million cu. ft. of gas. The well is in Section 29-23s-34e. The lateral was drilled to the south out of a vertical pilot hole. Caza drilled this venture to 15,035 ft. in Second Bone Spring sand and was fracture stimulated. Production is from perforations at 10,830-14,886 ft. The Bell Lake Field well is currently producing on a 22/64-in. adjustable choke at a flowing tubing pressure of 1,835 psi. According to the Midland, Texas-based company, data indicate the presence of oil and gas across Brushy Canyon, Avalon, and First and Second Bone Spring sand. Deeper Wolfcamp zones on the property may also be prospective for oil and gas.
