Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. has confirmed a Niobrara discovery in the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Weld County, Colo. The #1-29-11-57 O'Hare is in Section 29-11n-57w. According to state records, it averaged 340 bbl of oil, 250.44 Mcf of gas and 889 bbl of water per day in January. Production is from a fractured horizontal Niobrara lateral drilled eastward to a proposed depth of 13,519 ft. It bottomed in Section 28-11n-57w at a true vertical depth of 5,900 ft. Carrizo's headquarters are in Houston.
