Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Carrizo Oil & Gas Inc. completed two horizontal Phantom Field-Wolfcamp wells in Reeves County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas. The #1T Christian 2 flowed 1.08 Mbbl of 46.6-degree-gravity oil, 4.932 MMcf of gas and 5.291 Mbbl of water per day from fracture-treated perforations at 10,542-17,730 ft. The flowing casing pressure was 2,250 psi during testing on a 34/64-in. choke. It was drilled to 17,907 ft (10,119 ft true vertical) and is on a 377-acre Delaware Basin lease in Section 2, Block C19, PSL Survey, A-5235. The horizontal leg bottomed to the northeast. Within 2 miles to the southwest in Section 14, Block 4, H&GN Survey, A-5288, Carrizo completed a parallel horizontal well at #1H State CVX Unit A1314. It is producing 866 bbl of 46.2-degree-gravity crude, 3.01 MMcf of gas and 6.009 Mbbl of water per day from acid- and fracture-treated perforations at 10,420-10,626 ft. It was tested on a 36/64-in. choke and the flowing casing pressure was 2,570 psi. The venture was drilled to 17,375 ft, 10,505 ft true vertical. The horizontal leg was drilled out of an 11,050-ft pilot hole and bottomed to the northeast. Carrizo is based in Houston.
