Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Buru Energy has spud exploration well #1-Adoxa in onshore Western Australia in the Canning Basin, Block EP428 to test the greater Yakka Munga regional structure. The planned depth is 2,400 m is it is targeting oil in conventional sandstones of Reeves. The Anderson formation clastic reservoirs are a deeper secondary conventional oil target below 1,800 m. The venture is the first in the company’s drilling plan for 2019. This is a new play type for the Canning Basin and follows up the oil recovery from Reeves at a previous discovery, #1-Ungani Far West. According to Buru, the well is a relatively shallow vertical well that will provide geological information. Buru Energy is the operator of EP428 with 50% interest in partnership with Roc Oil holding the remaining 50%.
