Fidelity Exploration and Production Co. has reported a horizontal Cane Creek (Paradox-Pennsylvanian) producer in the Paradox Basin. The #17-2 Cane Creek Unit is in Section 17-26s-20e of Grand County, Utah. It initially flowed 294 bbl of oil and 130 Mcf of gas per day from an untreated horizontal Cane Creek interval at 7,950-11,420 ft. It was tested on a 4/64-in. choke and the flowing tubing pressure was 3,608 psi. The horizontal Cane Creek lateral was drilled to the southwest to 11,620 ft, 7,768 ft true vertical, and bottomed in Section 20-26s-20e. Fidelity is based in Denver.
