In Susquehanna County, Pa., Houston-based Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. reported results from a Dimock Field-Marcellus Shale discovery. The #22 Corbin J initially flowed 22 MMcf of gas per day from a fractured zone at 9,452-14,297 ft. It was drilled to 14,370 ft (7,090 ft true vertical) in Section 2, Hop Bottom 7.5 Quad, Brooklyn Township and was tested after 22 stages of fracturing.
