Description
Permits for eight horizontal Niobrara tests have been granted to Denver-based Burlington Resources Oil & Gas Co LP. The ventures will be drilled from two common drillpads in Arapahoe County, Colo. The four wells are #4-65 Property Reserve; #3-4-2AH Property Reserve; #2BH Property Reserve; #2CH Property Reserve and #2DH Property Reserve and will be drilled from a common drillpad in Section 3-4s-65w. They will be drilled to the west and bottom in Section 4-4s-65w. Measured total depths range from 17,799-17,916 ft; true vertical depths range from 7,884-7,952 ft. They will be horizontally drilled under the Aurora Airpark in Section 4 and are within one-half mile to the north of Burlington’s #4-65 3-4-1H Property Reserve 4-65 in Section 3-4s-65w: it was completed in 2015 initially flowing 763 bbl of oil, 1.048 MMcf of gas and 548 bbl of water per day.
