Description
Brix Operating LLC has scheduled a horizontal Haynesville Shale test in Webster Parish, La. The #1 Indian Creek 31-30HC has a planned depth of 23,000 ft and a planned true vertical depth of 15,000 ft. It will be in Section 31-17n-9 and is expected to bottom nearly 2 miles to the north in Section 30. A successful completion would be the first horizontal well in Sibley Field. To the south are numerous horizontal Haynesville Shale producers in Lake Bistineau Field, including #1 Madden 6H in Bienville Parish. It was tested in 2009 flowing 8.2 MMcf of gas and 224 bbl of water per day. Brix is based in Houston.
