Description

On the company's Gramma Ridge prospect, Caza Oil & Gas Inc. has completed a horizontal Bone Spring well in Section 27-21s-34e of Lea County, N.M. The #1H Gramma 27 State had a peak 24-hour gross daily rate of 830 bbl of oil and 4.63 MMcf of gas (1,602 bbl of oil equivalent per day) under controlled flowback. Tested on a 24/64-in. adjustable choke, the flowing casing pressure was 2,390 psi. The well was horizontally drilled to approximately 15,496 ft in Third Bone Spring Sand and it bottomed less than a mile to the north at a true vertical depth of 11,192 ft. According to paperwork filed with the state of New Mexico, the fracture-stimulated interval ranges from 11,351 ft to 15,372 ft.
