Description

Two offsetting Eagle Ford Shale wells were announced by Blackbrush Oil & Gas in Zavala County (RRC Dist. 1), Texas on its 147,000-acre Maverick County Project. The #11H Chittim Heirs was completed with 21 stages of fracturing and #12H Chittim Heirs was completed with 20 stages of hydraulic fracturing. According to IHS Markit, flowback operations are still underway, and the Briscoe Ranch Field wells are producing a combined 1.1 Mbbl of oil per day per day. The Lower Eagle Ford wells are in Section 641, GWT&P RR Co Survey, A-158. The #12H was drilled to 9,798 ft, 5.136 ft true vertical depth, and bottomed to the southeast. The #11H bottomed almost a mile to the northwest at 9,875 ft, 5,191 ft true vertical, in George W. Whaley Survey, A-1385. Blackbrush’s headquarters are in San Antonio.
